Our Humane Society is trying to put together a program with the Department of Juvenile Justice to develop a program for the youth in the DJJ system. Our goal is to teach the youth how to train shelter dogs to teach them compassion, a viable skill for when they return home as well as to help the shelter pets with obedience training to make them ready for adoption. Is this a program that the Goode Trust would consider for funding?
