The Humane Society of the Ochocos (www.humanesocietyochocos.com) is seeking funding to support shelter repairs and improvements, and to provide for shelter staffing including our full-time shelter manager. We are lucky to have a solid core of community volunteers who are dedicated and active in helping to meet shelter needs, but we also need to be able to ensure our long-term success by being able to keep good people in necessary staffing roles, doing the very important work only hired staff can do.
