I run a Thoroughbred rescue program in Puerto Rico we have been operating since June of 2008, we have saved 68 horses since then and found them homes. We have been lucky enough that a local training facility donated space and care for these horses, they can no longer do this due to financial strain. There are no rescue facilites here on the island and we are in desperate need not only for the Thoroughbreds but also local horses. I have people that will donate space and land but I do not have the funds to build or repair the facilites, and general care for these animals.
